The Digital Media Planner will work closely with their supervisor to develop and execute strategic media plans on behalf of our clients and partner agencies. This position will work with the media sales community, as well as client and creative agencies to develop unique and strategically appropriate media approaches, including exploring new sites and creative technologies that utilize emerging technologies pertinent to our clients’ objectives. The successful candidate will contribute to advancing the team knowledge base by creating and sharing case studies, POVs and seminar/conference summaries, as well as maintain constant communications with traffic, production and creative departments within our clients’ and partners’ organizations.

Conducting media planning research, meeting with media sales reps, seeking out innovative new advertising opportunities

Daily monitoring of all campaigns

Developing online media plans, recommendations and POVs

Conducting negotiations with media sales reps

Issuing and updating insertion orders (DCM)

Trafficking ad tags and creative using DCM

Analyzing campaign performance and making optimizations

Presenting to clients, as appropriate

Helping train Assistant Planners

Resolving media invoice and ad service fee discrepancies

MUST have 2-3+ years of online media planning experience
Strong computer skills including online media research and planning tools: DoubleClick Campaign Manager, Excel, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Ads Manager/Power Editor, Twitter Ads, LinkedIn Ads, comScore, and Sizmek.
